At Whiskered Away, we prioritise your cat’s comfort, wellbeing, and sense of security, and our thoughtfully designed suites reflect that commitment.
With a limited number of suites available, we’re able to provide a quieter, more personalised experience for every cat in our care. This allows us to maintain a calm, stress-free environment where each cat receives genuine, individual attention.
Each cat stays in their own private space, creating a calm and familiar environment where they can rest, settle, and feel at ease during their stay.
Cats from the same household are welcome to share a suite where suitable. This can be a great option for bonded cats who feel more comfortable together, while still receiving the same level of personalised care and attention.
Our suites are designed to support both comfort and natural feline behaviours, allowing your cat to relax, observe, and move freely within their space.
Each suite includes:
• Elevated platforms for resting and observing
• Scratching areas to support natural behaviours
• Separate spaces for feeding and litter
• Bright, well-ventilated enclosures for a calm and comfortable environment
Pricing
Our pricing reflects the personalised, low-capacity care we provide at Whiskered Away.
With a limited number of suites available, each cat receives dedicated one-on-one time and attention throughout their stay.
Standard Rate: $60 per night
Peak Rate: $70 per night
Peak rates apply during school holidays, public holidays, and high-demand periods such as Christmas and Easter.
Additional Services
Medication can be administered for a small additional fee of $2 per day
Enrichment & Play
Our dedicated playroom is designed to keep your cat engaged, enriched, and relaxed throughout their stay.
With space to explore, climb, and play, including a floor-to-ceiling scratcher, cosy hideaways, and themed enrichment that changes monthly. Each visit offers something a little different, while still maintaining a calm and secure environment.
Each cat enjoys individual, dedicated time in the playroom daily, allowing them to explore and play at their own pace without the stress of unfamiliar cats.
Cats from the same household are welcome to enjoy playtime together; however, we do not mix cats from different households.
Regular updates and photos are provided so you can feel confident your cat is happy, settled, and enjoying their stay.
Viewing Whiskered Away
You’re very welcome to visit during our opening hours to view our playroom and reception area and get a feel for Whiskered Away.
To keep things calm and stress-free for our guests as they settle into a new environment, we don’t walk visitors through the private suite area. This is their quiet space, and limiting foot traffic helps ensure they feel safe and relaxed during their stay.
However, we’re always happy to open the door to the boarding area so you can view the suites from the entrance and see the space for yourself.
Our suites are thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable, secure, and enriching environment for every cat in our care.
